Timothy is an associate in our Corporate Department in Kampala, a member of our Corporate-Mergers and Acquisitions team.
His practice cuts across a wide spectrum of commercial advisory and transaction advice particularly in corporate M&A, Energy, cross-border corporate and commercial law. He specializes in Mergers & Acquisition, banking and finance, cross-border transactional, legal and regulatory advice, project financing, insolvency, insurance law, arbitration, corporate governance, energy law and taxation, and financial crimes.
Before joining Bowmans, he previously worked as a legal officer at NewPlan (U) Limited and as well as earlier at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau in the Directorate of Insolvency and Receiverships.
Timothy holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Makerere University Kampala, a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Southampton in Commercial and Corporate Law. He is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda, a member of Uganda Law Society (ULS) and East Africa Law Society (EALS) and an associate member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) (UK and Uganda Chapters).
