Jonathan is a Senior Associate with our Banking and Finance team with a bias and keen interest in matters of ESG and GCI (Governance Compliance & Investigations). He sits on advising boards of financial institutions in matters of ESG and acting in some of the largest financial fraud matters in the region. His work has been recognized by leading continental legal directory, Legal 500 which has described him as a “Rising Star” and “Key Lawyer” with the firm.

Jonathan joined the firm in 2014 having completed his post graduate diploma in legal practice at Law Development Centre. He previously interned at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha and two other leading law firms. Jonathan holds an LLB (Hons) degree from Uganda Christian University and an LLM degree from the Pennsylvania State University, United States of America and a Post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
