Freda Khainza

Freda is an Associate in our Corporate Services Department and leads in firm’s Company Secretarial and Immigration portfolio.

Prior to joining AF Mpanga in July 2022, Freda was a Corporate Service Associate – Legal with Equatorial Secretaries & Registrars Limited, the Company secretarial division of PKF Uganda since 2018. She engages in advising clients on Corporate Governance issues, the applicability of the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, and guidance on best procedures for the Board and General meetings, Board Evaluations, and Inductions as well Board trainings.

Freda’s practice extends to NGO, Immigration and Employment matters where she has successfully registered and obtained NGO operation permits, as well as Work permits.

Freda is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with a Bachelor of Laws Degree in Law from Uganda Christian University, a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and a Post Graduate Diploma in Taxation and Revenue from the East African School of Taxation.

Freda is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.
