Wang is the first and only Chinese national licensed to practice law in Uganda. originally from Wuxi, China, holds degrees in Business English and Law from Nanjing Xiaozhuang University and Makerere University, and qualified at Uganda’s Law Development Centre. Her bilingual legal fluency and cross-jurisdictional knowledge make her a valuable asset in advising Chinese individuals, enterprises, and state-owned entities operating in Uganda and East Africa.
Her work supports the Belt and Road Initiative by facilitating outbound Chinese investment, resolving transnational disputes, and promoting rule-based cooperation. Wang’s role at AF Mpanga goes beyond legal transactions—she fosters trust and understanding between diverse legal cultures. Her appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to global growth and its vision of becoming a preferred legal advisor for international investors, particularly from China, in Uganda’s evolving economic landscape.
