Rachael is a Senior Associate with AF Mpanga Advocates and a key member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution team.
A seasoned litigation and dispute resolution, she has over a decade of experience advising and representing clients in high‑stakes commercial, civil, and financial disputes. Her practice spans litigation, arbitration, and regulatory compliance across diverse sectors, including banking, oil and gas, and corporate advisory.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachel gained early experience with the Ugandan Judiciary, before working with a leading law firm, where she handled a broad range of complex commercial litigation and transactional matters. Today, she is a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic legal opinions, managing high‑value portfolios, and delivering tailored, effective solutions to complex disputes.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University and a Post‑Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. She is also certified in International Arbitration and the Essentials of Oil & Gas Law. She is a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society.
