Abdallah Sekibembe is an Associate with AF Mpanga Advocates and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Arbitration Departments.
His practice involves a broad range of corporate and commercial advisory, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution and arbitration. He has advised a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including banking, insurance, communications, e-commerce, civil society, agriculture, hospitality, and transport, on matters relating to their business operations, including regulatory compliance, corporate governance, employment matters, new business ventures and market entry, commercial contracts, immigration, licensing, alternative dispute resolution, and interpretation of applicable laws and regulations.
Abdallah also acts as Company Secretary to leading corporates, multinationals, and NGOs, supporting governance frameworks, facilitating board operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He also represents clients before courts, tribunals, and other fora, with a focus on corporate and commercial disputes.
Abdallah is a Commissioner for Oaths, a registered Insolvency Practitioner, and Trademark Agent.
Abdallah holds a Master of Laws degree in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, a Bachelor of Laws degree from Uganda Christian University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
Abdallah is a member of the Uganda Law Society, the East African Law Society, and the Africa Corporate and Governance (ACGC) Forum.
